The path forward starts here.

In Latin, via means “a way,” “a road,” or “a path.” ViaHCS is about walking alongside individuals and their support team, in partnership with the California Regional Center System.

Via

“a way, a road, a path”

Why “Via”?

The name Via shares roots with Behavia Therapy, the legal parent entity under which we operate. Behavia continues to serve children through commercial insurance and Medi-Cal. For ViaHCS, the name is an intentional metaphor: the people we are preparing to serve are moving toward independence, growth, and fuller participation in their communities.

Individuals referred through a regional center

We are preparing to support individuals across the lifespan through programs funded by California regional centers. Our work centers on community support, independence, developmental growth, and meaningful life skills.

ViaHCS and Behavia Therapy

Behavia Therapy is the legal entity behind both brands. Via Home and Community Services is the DBA registered for our adult services. Behavia continues to deliver ABA funded through commercial insurance and Medi-Cal. Same leadership team, same standard of care, different funding pathways.

ViaHCS

Services and programs funded through California regional centers, supporting individuals across the lifespan. Our first program, Behavioral Day Services, is launching soon. ABA referred through a regional center is delivered on the Via side as well.

Behavia Therapy

Our DBA for ABA therapy funded through commercial insurance and Medi-Cal. Families seeking ABA outside the regional center pathway are routed to Behavia Therapy.

Our family of organizations

One mission across school, home, and community

Via Home and Community Services is part of a family of organizations connected by shared leadership and the same clinical standards, each serving individuals with disabilities in a different setting. For the regional centers, coordinators, and families we work with, that means consistent, coordinated care wherever it's needed: at school, at home, or in the community.
